I fully agree. My ex became a teacher at a school in Southend with behavioural problems. She was extremely hard working, and had to endure continually intimidatory behaviour from the students, including pouring drinks in her drawers / on her lesson plans and the bandying around of the word cunt with...

Pimp my PC

So I bought a fairly basic desktop about a year ago... processor is okay but the RAM and graphics are shit. I only have a gig of ram, despite running Vista, and the graphics card is a Nvidia Gforce E6150. I want to be able to give Darkfall a decent crack so I'm faced with either buying a new P.C or ...

Cars

I passed my driving test earlier today and been thinking about getting a car. The problem is that I'm a budget as currently having to put about £650 a month towards going back ot uni to do an MA. Leaves me with about £250 a month to mess around with (after rent and gym membership). I'll probably be ...

Whilst I acknowledge that this is the case for most people (i.e obese people who plan to lose weight every year or giving up smoking) it is also a good opportunity to clarify existing goals and give them some solidity.

Seconded, would advocate the recommendations of Stars and Sigur Ros in particular.

Have my Vitriol done another album since the one they released about 9 years ago? Not heard from them for ages.

I want to get some new stuff and haven't heard anything new for about 5-6 years, help me become modern.
TV on the Radio are a really good band, get their album 'Dear Science'.

New Years Resolutions

What are your New Years resolutions? I'm going back to uni to do an MA in September so I have resolved to budget better as I have to put most of my paycheck into savings until then. This means I'll have to cut back on spending frivolously, take my own lunch to work, etc. I've also resolved to mainta...

I think the real question is that who is so far removed from reality that they think playing World of Warcraft makes them more desirable to employ? Not that it's necessarily a bad thing but how is it relevant? How does half the bs people say in relation to hobbies have any relevance to jobs they ap...

Killed the playerbase of people like me who don't like sinking hours into repetitive PvM in order to compete in PvP, which seems to be the trend in current MMOs (hopefully darkfall withstanding). I didn't like it because P16 and AoS started the senescence of the O/C PvP scene, the days of guild wars...

It would be nice to think this will be a great game, but I find it hard to get my hopes up when it's been made by a company who are constantly setting and resetting release dates and who have little-to-no media campaign going six weeks before launch. Everything about it screams arse over tit, and I ...
