Re: Hello

Hi Tetravus, we met in game I think. We moved the shard message boards to here http://aosredux.net/boards/ Your login for these boards will still work. You're more than welcome to post here too of course, but there's more relevant stuff over that way.

Glad you've stuck around.

Re: UO Nostalgia Links

Not sure why you want to hear from a geriatric still playing UO You and Terry were always good friends to us so why wouldn't we! 9 years ago or something that you had your vendor house in I-C town.. 'Real' UO sounds worse every time I hear about it - but I still can't get past it! It's a real shame...

Take the 20% LRC off? I believe this would make a good PvP 100% LRC suit almost impossible. I'm for it. Any reason I shouldn't be?

Re: Introductions

I responded to a reddit post about this shard, and realized my prejudice toward a P25 shard was ill-founded. Now my interest in this project is sparked. So I'm here poking around your forums. My lack of exposure and understanding of the game post UO:LBR is worth noting. I have limited knowledge of ...

Introductions

I've had a few people PM'ing me for access to the shard lately, hopefully the very work-in-progress look of things isn't putting people off too much. So Nebbers, Ceolwulf and the others, how about introducing yourselves and getting involved here, introduce yourselves and a bit about your UO history?...

Shard Website

Is here. http://www.aosredux.net It's pretty limited at the minute, but I'll gradually improve both the content and the look. Still familiarising myself with WordPress.

Re: 'Fun' things from early UO that were gradually phased ou

We could perhaps code custom areas that are gate-able (no recall/sj) in some non champ dungeons. Shame and Hyth being the obvious examples. I know what Night means, a lot of people aren't prepared to put the effort in to run it. If I had it my way recall/sj would be removed completely from the game,...

Re: "i will take thee"

I'd just want them @ bottom of dungeons rather than in towns - or at least the ones in dungeons should offer much higher rewards for being escorted successfully.
