Re: 'Fun' things from early UO that were gradually phased ou
I still believe you should be able to recall and gate into dungeons, as originally intended. Way back if you were hunting and you saw a gate appear you could practically guarantee it was a group of PK's..this made it fun imo. This would suck imo. It was rubbish in UO:R from a PK perspective running...

Re: Without a 'Trammel'
Insurance is there, 3x70 is there, coupled with all the spawn changes/locations and your doing fine. New players have every chance on this shard.

Re: BOD reward list, what we want and what we don't...
One other thing, if you tie in the BOD rewards but not through BOD collections - with perhaps the Vanity items/the enhancement system (gems)/repair changes from the other thread - crafters will have more than enough to be happy with for now. If there is any kind of 'crafting' community, you'll then ...

Re: L25 crafting system (gems, etc)
I'll write about this when I'm home, currently at work. I think I remember the Legacy crafting system well (it was ripped off another shard I believe, but Noxin improved it).
Personally I thought it was fucking win.

Re: BOD reward list, what we want and what we don't...
Maybe just remove the BOD system all together? Quick run down. You had to be seriously committed to BOD collecting to reap any kind of rewards. I did them daily and the best reward I had was a gold runic. All be it, I wasn't as hardcore as Barian and other blacksmiths. Basically what used to happen,...

Re: Thoughts on quivers?
I just cant agree that we change stuff 'because it's nice' when it has an impact on pvp. Archers have their advantages and disadvantages the same as any other class. Mages have to either sacrifice other mods to get lrc, or work ridiculously hard/farm shitloads/get very lucky. What would archers hav...

Re: Thoughts on quivers?
While I can see what oz is saying, a lot of shards who stick rigidly to era specific are shit in my opinion. Great for the first 5 minutes then your player base soon get bored. After being so used to playing AOS and having all the new templates etc, UO:R seems shit in comparison. Look at how active ...

Re: Stackable Potions, Alchemy & Greater Explo's
Striking a balance would be great as I'm all for an Alchemy template - the more diversity the better. I remember when we made the BOOMZ on OSI but unfortunately didn't play long enough to utilize it properly. I can't remember if you've capped EP, but I remember running with around 50% on Nixon befor...
