Re: Network FM 2012?
Championship would probably be the best league in terms of fairness etc? I'd be up for it but time would be the main problem for me :/

Re: Lost Lands?
Yeah, it's a huge landmass but can be used for events / additional spawns etc. The teleport abuse etc makes it so good, nice alternative to dungeon fighting as well.

Re: Reds
I agree with you to be honest, if it's a major issue then we can consider alternative ideas.

Re: Taming
As much as I hated tamers in PvP I kind of agree with Night, if the pet speed is nerfed then they aren't a major issue, especially with pet limit in place. Tamers weren't a major issue in AOS until the warp bug + bola use.

Re: Crafting changes/new system - the idea
I know this has been covered on the other thread but yes, the terrible fashion AOS brought was an absolute disaster - the worst thing since stat loss

Re: +3 phys items system
Jesters hat's were fucking cool on the right set. It would be nice if instead of +3 phys it was a random stat like Night suggested. Gives just a bit more freedom which can only be a good thing. Alternatively can have a crafter to do some sort of transformation on the item to convert the +3 phys to +...

Re: Reds
Have to agree with Fatal. Anything which completely discourages PvP would be a massive turn off. The jail system may have worked back in the day but it's not really practical in the AOS era because death was far more common. I'm not a massive fan of skill reductions either but they are probably the ...

Yes, the new system was absolutely immense. It's a such a shame we didn't have this before.

Re: Darkshard enhanced 2D GUI
Are the icon's lockable or does the guy just have a neat layout? It's a nice touch but I prefer the original ones probably because it's what I'm accustomed too/have no idea what some of those are for.

Re: Crafting changes/new system - the idea
Cheers boys. What do you think about cramping the templates with the secondary skills? I can't really remember what the typical 'mule' was like anymore. Something like Smith/Mine/Tailor/Tinker/Lumber/Carpentry/Alchemy? I guess some had scribe or magery or poisoning in place of one or more of those....

Re: Crafting changes/new system - the idea
Gargoyle pickaxe, they were looted from Stone Gargoyles or normal Gargoyles, dunno what the chance of drop was. It was basically a super strength pickaxe with about 100 charges and boosted the miners chance of ore by +1. i.e. If you could only mine copper, with the axe you could mine tin. Here is wh...

Re: What do we actually like about AOS?
I actually like the idea of removing runic hammers/kits from the game completely. What you are proposing is a FAR better option. Crafters would have genuine uses again, still allows for variation in suits and makes it impossible to have an uber crafter who can do absolutely everything which makes th...

Re: What do we actually like about AOS?
Guess I should have said PvP mechanics. ...and yeah Nix agreed, although I think that is quite a minor part. I really liked insurance personally. Not because it meant you could keep your items, more the gold reward on killing people. I disagree it was a minor part and I think for a lot of people, p...
