re: Box macro... It was uber gay.
I never really solved it on L25, but now a nice solution might be to make boxes fragile items.
If you're hit by a weapon or spell and are carrying a box it has a chance to break in your pack... If it's trapped the trap will go off.

Thing is, boxes are just one of tons of blocking items that could be used, the real underlying problem is that using razor you can drop these blocking items in a pattern far too fast. Perhaps easier would be to add a delay to dropping items on the ground... It'd be slightly annoying in general gameplay but would prevent anything like this occuring in PvP.

Just add a counter to player characters that is reduced every tick if over 1, when a player drops an item the counter is increased. Items can only be dropped when the counter is 0. I imagine the increase should be 2 ticks, so an item can only be dropped every 0.5 seconds.

that would still allow the one where you parablow and drop all around to work. Maybe better to disallow dropping of all impassable items when combat flagged (would still need to be able to drop regs and loot if overweight in combat)

This. Doesn't stop people setting traps/blocks in advance.

Obviously need to make sure 'flagged' applies when you are both the agressor and defender, as the table thing was most often used by people escaping PKs etc.
