Useless skills.
Any ideas for improving any of the useless ones, without ruining the 'feel' of the era?
Re: Useless skills.
cooking =
make some stat buff/skill buffs that last 1hr? like a boosted time str spell etc.

Re: Useless skills.
Don't really want to add more items into PvP IMO. Was thinking more from a non-pvp angle.
Re: Useless skills.
add prostitutes
cooks can make money from prostitutes by selling pies, fatter prostitutes are more expensive but offer chance of STD (temporary PvP buff to infect anyone you damage in melee)
you die at the end of the buff
i need to go to bed

Continuing on from this, and from what Nix posted here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4794
Skills we could consider changing:
Arms Lore. We're looking at this in proposed crafting changes. Ideas so far = Include it in the equation for making new items. Or, my new preference, include it in the equation for if items break or lose durability during repairs. Remember that we want to make breaks/durability loss a real possibility, with no chance of improving the durability.
Forensic Eval. I dunno. Perhaps not as drastic as Nix talks about in his thread, but I'd like to make it useful.
Herding. Some kind of bonus towards taming, or control of tames?
Item ID. This skill really should be given some kind of use.
