1. How do BODS work? The entire system from aquisition to generation of items.
2. How do Item repair deeds come about? What generates them?
3. How does the powder for BOS's and repair come about?
4. What other crafter type AOS items am I forgetting?

1: If you have a certain amount of a crafting skill, you can ask an NPC that represents said skill once per day for a BOD.
What kind of BOD you get is completely random.
sBODS are BODs that require 10/15/20 or a single item.
lBODS are bods that require a number of sBODS that are already filled.
Rewards depend on the "difficulty" of the BOD.
Every time you hand in a filled BOD you reset the timer on recieving a new one.

2: Item repair deeds were crafted by players afaik. The "strenght" of the deed was affected by the skill of the crafter. (ie. "A grandmaster blacksmith repair deed")

3: Powder of Fortification was a reward from mid-range BOD`s from blacksmithing. BOS`s and powder for them came from the Solen shiznit. There were some "quests" and stuff you did to obtain them. (I think you looted some stuffs of solens, and then you handed it in to some friendly solens and got the powder and/or bags)

4: Dont really know, but I will mention one thing even though its not strictly crafter related. I see no mention of pet summoning balls. I bring this up because it was also something that came from the Solen buisness.

Def don't want summoning balls in. On that subject - bonding, how the fuck did that work, and would it still work without summoning balls?

Dont think it was related. Or... you could only attach a bonded pet to a summoning ball or somesuch.

But the bonding in itself was simply a matter of owning the pet and not letting it die for... a week?

Bonding = feed your tame pet on one day, then feed it 7 days later and it bonded. Didn't matter if you fed it in between or not. If it died when bonded, just left a ghost which could be ressed by a vet.

Summoning balls allowed you to recall a bonded pet from wherever it was.

They were mainly introduced for when pets and their ghosts got stuck.

and yeh solen shit was a ballache. you had to do a couple of quests, and then after that farm them for new bags/charges.
I actually quite like the idea of having them in (they are very "AOS") just not fucking beetles, have the BoS and charges earnt another way?

Maybe something that attracts pvp, like a quest hub somewhere. (i used to pk at solen loads, once took a haul of about 25 BoS lol)

bags of sending 100% no way. Just means people can sit in a dungeon for ages and just farm away safely sending everything of value to the bank, no risk. Makes pk'ing/stealing in dungeons pointless.

One of the biggest mistakes was leaving them in on Legacy. Me and zole farmed for about 6 hours straight in Shame one day(REALLY GLAD I DID THAT ON A SHARD THAT LASTED ABOUT 6 WEEKS)

Did it for about 4324235325235 hours on origin. We did get 7 castles out of it though!

The origin heroics were amazing, not that I was around then but it pretty much set us up money wise until we quit

idea of doom: removing the crafting deeds for houses, brings people into town. maybe depend tailoring on proximity to a loom or something.

Right on this subject, someone show me the train for how people get IN GAME:

Anvils, Forges, BODS, Repair Deeds, Summoning Balls, etc etc etc so I can remove all of this shit. I have no idea how you obtain any of this stuff. If I ever had it in game it came off a corpse or a player vendor.
