Special PvM loot rewards
Here's the current setup. Thoughts? Anything that should be changed/removed/added? Where should we put crafting power scrolls? Need to decide on other boosts to Tmap Chests, Dungeon Chests and maybe Paragons too. Also Toki's idea about having a random monster spawn with a low chance of dropping a say 5 charge runic. Could that just be tied into paragons? What about his idea for stealable artifacts as well?
Power scrolls - Champion spawns.
Stat scrolls - Harrowers.
Circlet of Steel (Replacement for P25 Samurai Helm) - Balron. In usual spawn places.
Minor Artifacts (P26 stuff, Heart of the Lion, etc) - Paragons. Throughout Felucca. Also via Tmap Chests.
Rarity 11 Artifacts (HoM, Ornament, etc) - Dark Fathers. In Deceit, Shame, Hythloth, Covetous.
CBD's, Hair Dyes/Restyles, Reward Dye Tubs - Impalers, Flesh Renderers, BONE Demons. In Deceit, Covey, Shame, Hythloth.
Tome of Enlightenment - Ancient Lich. Cove & Nuj Cemetaries.
Tome of Lost Knowledge - Lich Lord. Usual Felucca spawn points.
Ancient Smith Hammer - Shadow Knight.

Paragons are pretty common so I'd look at a separate mob for tokis idea.
Rest looks okay, one thing I'd say is be vague about this stufff in FAQs. Let people discover it themselves.

Actually think it'd be ok - 10% chance of a Paragon dropping a Paragon treasure chest, and if we were to give a small chance of that chest containing a low charged runic...?

Are the below enough to make people want to be T-Hunters & Lockpickers? Oz can you translate treasurechestmod.cs completely? What's gem and item drop chance? Affected by level?

Level 1:
300-700 gold
Level 2:
800-1500 gold
Level 3:
1600-2500 gold
Level 4:
2600-4000 gold
Ancient Chest:
1/5 chance of Rarity 11 Doom Artifact
Treasure Map Chests:
10% chance to drop a map same level as one just done
10% chance of minor artifact drop
500-5000 gold

What are the numbers you posted? Ideas for what we should give? As it stands theres a big difference. Also, whats an ancient chest?
Normal treasure chests range from 100-300 at level 1 to 5000-9000 at level 6.
Map chests drop the level * 3000. So level 6 (whatever that is?) gives 18000 gold.
10% chance for same level map is already in place (I'm guessing one of you added it by the way it's coded)
Item drops use level * 6 to determine the no of items of type armor, weapon or jewels. Quality isn't based on level, its random.
Reagents drop at a rate of level * 3.
Gems drop at a rate of level * 5.

Ah I must be on an old script. Let me know if you're not sure about adding the artifacts to the loot of deth.

You're prob looking in the file in the 'real' scripts folder. The one that dictates it = nerun's distro which is in scripts > customs

Oh I had no idea. Brain. My stuff about gems etc is likely wrong too then. I'll take a look tomorrow night.

1/5 on arti? hmm...i could churn 5 lv 5s in a few hours, but thats on osi where there is a readily available source of lv5 maps to buy etcetc. Hard to gauge if im honest.

As I read it the Treasure chests are dungeon chests, not Treasure maps.

Merc, there's 6 locations for the 'ancient chests' with artifacts. All are hidden in places no one will find for weeks, and only respawn once every 24-36 hours.

Must assume that not all 6 spawn every day-36 hours, but perhaps 1/2 of the 6 locations?
I really like the idea of fully hidden stuff. Re-inspire people to explore. Never release full details.

Yeah they're all randomised. All can spawn anywhere within a 12 hour timescale.
