Because it's still cool as fuck.
Hamachi makes it easy to play some private games between us.
Get it from here (non-battlenet version)
http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/sc_start.html
Also google DxWnd if you want to play it in a window instead of fullscreen.
...now if only I could find a way to resize the window :s

Playing against us the curve will be nothing, but I would imagine playing any half decent random online the curve would be so steep that you would never catch up.

i played online a few years back, the curve is very very steep once you get past "noobs" because those that still play SC have played for years. The really good players, do the same builds in the same times etc, its pretty crazy. Like 1 misclick, and u lose...

Sounds like what AOK has become.
Only hardcore experts play online these days.

Starcraft is pretty awesome. Few years back i was kinda decent at it.
Then i asked a friend of mine, who supposedly beat the #1 ranked StarCraft player in Norway a couple of times, to play me. All my illusions were shattered
I-Cers about my joining I-C:
Clx: "risk", "what? dont", "I`ll object"
Future: "fucked up"
Villa: "dirty and unclean"
senj: "guildhopper"
