Skill based, I wasn't allowed to participate as I have too much.

a bit of both.
Teams were initially chosen based on template combinations and individual skill/technique to try and balance them.
Then finally we just let the girls pick their favourite men!

Probably start doing it more often now, was the first time we attempted it with more than two teams.

(We haven't been this active or organised...ever^^)

Think it's more a having fun thing, these lads and lasses don't really care who they fight as long as they get a fight :)

The main reason was to improve our team play in field fight situations, hence the lack of pre-organised venue, and there were absolutely no rules. It was essential to indulge in healthy amounts of shit talking and reskilling or face disqualification.

Ambushes, wanding, petals, chain mortals, everything was allowed to improve our team play, we all benefited from it I think. I missed the main event but took part in some smaller trial runs the night before and they were a lot of fun. Dungeon pking has always been great fun, but hard to find people anywhere other than fire/desp etc. Also hard to find a good fun battle between good teams. Think we all agreed this was some of the best fun we've had for ages.

Wonder which of the 3552352 domains Nox let expire these ones were hosted on!
