I disagree man, you've just got to adopt the statloss pk attitude again, and its fine. I'm actually really sucessful solo'ing here, but you have to know your limits and equip for the job. Having the right items defo helps.

Its defo not dead for the soloist, and you've just got to raise your game. You have to accept the lame deaths and ganks, but see it as a compliment as its the only way they can kill you.

I didnt enjoy group fighting, because I was a solo'ist but it came with practice, and enjoy it a lot more now (more so than some solo situations).

2-3 man teams can take out 10 man teams. THat is just as fun as soloing, you just need practice.

I've been soloing on a blue recently to reteach myself how to use a swords mage while Dr Jekyll is retrained ready for P29. I've seen quite a few red soloists about so it's not all dead and I've found out a few people are nice enough (Rich XII, Chris Furger, Obscurity etc.) and I've also teamed up with them when we've been ganked (me being grey ofc).

EEV/I-C will get back in to it eventually but for now I'm anticipating the launch of WoW.

nah gonna keep, i know in reality i will be weak like amber, its just such a fucking shame the thing i love most about uo is gone

and nix your probably alot more talented than me, for me a what id say run of the mill pvper (competant enough) even with wands walls pots even bloody petals, it gets me down trying to constantly fight minimum 1v2 lol

and its not like i can even pk pvmers, because in that respect fell is deaded on df

Seriously, if you want to combat ninja gayness go detective!
Grab a blue mage char, slap on detect, hiding, lrc armor and a spellchannel para weapon and go for it.

I enjoyed revealing ninja's the other day using my GM scout. They got killed almost every time after I presented them para'ed on a plate to the assorted blue's.
