What is the point of a basement other than a place to store your victims' bodies, or to host a portal to an evil dimension ?

i think theyre mainly in american houses.

Yeah ive rarely seen a basement in a house in the UK.

One of my mates hails from Boston, and they had a basement which was turned into a bedroom, just due to size etc.

As Calix says, best games room.

Basements in most houses in norway.
@ my mothers house theres 1 bathroom, 1 storage room for tools and such and one for food and wines and shit. Could have had washing machine in one of them, but its sat in the bathroom.

My friend has a basement, gym/sauna and snooker room in it. Best basements in some of the houses on the hills.

Also Winder sleeps on chairs in toilets, so np having washing machine next to toilet as well.
