Lol half of these quotes look like they've been lifted straight out of UO's expansions and scenarios like the orc invasion:

“The AI on the goblin scouts surprised me. They kept running from me when they were low on health and peppered me with arrows until I got exhausted from chasing them and died miserably.”

The beta must exist or they really are sad lifting and inventing all these quotes. But the quotes do all seem incredibly vague.

A little over a month to go before the deadline of "Release by end of 2008" expires.
This is either the most laidback CBA kind of PR, or they have something huge waiting to happen at the 11th hour.

And yeah agreed, seems bizarre to publish feedback like that so early in the game. Surely they should be limiting it to a private beta members forum until the game shows more progress.

Nah, I think they did announce a European publisher - some random Greek company, but they are yet to find one for North America last I heard.

Like I said, 11th hour surprise, or there's something not quite right going on.

The comments were allegedly picked from a SUPA SEKRET beta forum in a bid to provide evidence of an ongoing beta.

All I can say is NO with furious anger.

I read a few of those. They remind me of the 'testimonials' you see about the 'abmaster 4000' on gems tv; fawning praise more reminiscent of autocratic propaganda than genuine, organic adulation. However, like any flabby, sallow singleton with an attic full of seldom-used sports equipment, hopefully most people have learnt not to believe the hype until they really are balls deep in Claudia Schiffer.
