Hello!

This is primarily directed at Nix, but maybe you guys know stuff in this area too!

I graduate in June and im looking at jobs now, hopin to get something sorted and set in stone by April/Early May.

The only problem is im not sure of good sites to check out. Now my local paper has a good job section, infact its great for the area, but I know alot of bigger companies may not advertise here. Can you suggest any Scottish (with the option to select location) websites I can use?

I know the obvious ones;

Monster
s1 jobs
job scotland

But is there one im missing or such?

Edit - Should have said, ill be graduating in Business and Marketing, so any managment job or marketing job is best.

Thanks

i like'd emploment

i felt that yours truly, angry mob was an average album and then off with their heads' had a few stand out tracks ('half the truth')

if they had put all 3 albums onto 1 i would love them

although 'retirement' was an awsome song and made a great alarm clock for work

I found reed were pish, at least up here.

I would strongly suggest agencies though, what line of work are you looking for? Are you staying in Dundee or are you prepared to move? In Aberdeen for example, we have agencies targeting specific industries and they seem to be pretty good to pester. Be prepared to take a small % cut on what you expect your wage to be though, most people graduating tend to think they will get a higher wage than is the market will actually pay for someone with 0 experience.

Your local paper may be a good source to, every wednesday & friday they release info about news jobs here, granted theres maybe only 1 or 2 suitable, but still worth a look.

It's very much being/looking at the right place at the right time.

Unfortunately just now is not a very good time to graduate :(

Yeah I know im not expecting anything AWESOME SOCKZ. Ive applied primarily in management jobs as alot of the marketing ones are call centres and..well, I dont mean to be rude to anyone working there but no plz.

Im just gonna be looking in Dundee Nix - G/F is working here already and tbh I dont wanna move elsewhere just yet.

Ill use local paper etc, hoping to hear back from the two jobs I applied for (along with sending my CV to alot of other companies).

Its still early days yet, but I wanted to get ahead of the other 10,000 graduates applying =/

Yeah fair enough, I don't really know if there is any local specific agencies based in Dundee, but they would be your best bet.

Is it some sort of graduate programme or trainee manager your going for?
