I'm planning on buying a new laptop in the next few weeks and not really to sure what I should be looking for.
I want to be able to play lol and sc2 at high settings so I guess I need a graphics card and not the normal integrated cards, what should I be looking for?

I have about £500 to spend

I doubt you will get one for £500 capable of playing those games at high settings. Need to up the budget to £700-800 at least.

Or you could purchase one of machines the other fine gentlemen in this thread have suggested.

just downloaded and installed, only played the intro scene but it seems to run perfectly on high settings

although when playing dota 2 the other day it started to lag a bit after 2 hours, but i just lowered it all to medium and had no problems

@ Slamer/KLOR - how are you finding the laptops now you've had them a while? Thinking of getting one and the models you chose seem to be about right for what I want, if a little more than I wanted to pay!
