Does anyone know much about 'em? I'm looking at a Nikon D60 but I know nothing whatsoever about lenses and thus what's a good deal or not.
Suggestions?

After discussing with some knowledgable people (not you lot), I'm likely to get a Nikon D60 with AF-S 18-55 VR lens.

Benn, don't know if it has to be a full on SLR, but the Canon Powershot SX1 is the dog's goolies in this particular price range, and comes with a 20 X optical zoom lens, 4fps shooting and full HD video recording:

All I know is that Nikon D60 and probably other similar cameras are very awesome for taking high resolution clear pictures.

There's a debate about whether the D60 is worth the extra cash over the D40 (which i have). What's the price difference?
Will catch you in irc

Irfanview or Hypersnap DX(trial edition ofc) is all you need.
