Calling someone a dick can be twisted into the sexual category (which Biff did by insisting it was "rude")

Not sure about Drachs but on LS the shard was full of little spitefull fuckers who would try and get you banned for anything end everything - and many have been.

You wanna see what its like on LS. peopel get banned for all sorts of shit. peopel got banned for sayign "coon" (as in baracoon). beleive me, if you get a pissed off GM you will get banned for practically anything. This is a teen rated game unfortunately.

Skullwasp has a point. I have played on Drach for about 6 months now, and I've been picking up german words to help deal with people who don't, or won't, speak english. One of the common words people use on Drach is "jap," which means "yup" or yes. I said that on LS a few months ago, and someone paged a GM on me, and I almost got suspspended (would have been banned on my other accout cuz it has a mark already). I was able to convince the GM that I play on Drach, a European/German shard where the word is not a racial, slanderous term, and typed it out of habbit. I got off with a warning and no suspension, but it does go to show you that some people will try to get you banned for anything.

one of my guild mates on drach did get suspended for 72 hours for saying 'japs,' however. he used it in a sentance and said "Let's split up and flank those japs." Someone paged on him, and he got nailed.

Paging a GM is pretty petty, and I feel your pain, Wasp. I've been there myself.

I remember being in the starroom on my red all alone. I had poison fields up, and energy fields, and was going to do a 1-man star room camp thing... Unfortunately, biff came in from terra keep and ruined my plans. I started to fight with him, and got spanked by him and the blues that came in while I was distracted. I got stuck behind my energy field, so I couldn't hit Biff with my weapon (my red is a tank mage w/ fencing), and I couldn't get close enough to hit him with deadly or lethal poison, so all I could do was just cast on him from about 6 tiles away. He had the benefit of being able to run back towards the gate and get out of my range and heal up, which he did...and he still almost got dropped...by me... So..yeah. I agree.. Biff sucks.

It's like Aesop's fables. The fox can't reach the grapes, so decides they're sour anyway and doesn't really want them. He can't beat you 1v1, so he'll page and get you banned. Childish, really.

Jap isnt slanderous anywhere, its an abbreviation! (NEW AGE nobs who like to rant about shit and act camp etc will argue) And yes anyone who pages gm on a player for stuff like swearing is a fag. There are some things which as just stupid tho, and people deserve to be paged on just to piss on their ego.

ps I think Biff is ok, i played uyo with edonkey on and died. He looted my brace i forgot to insure (omg insurance bug! not) and I went on diff char, saw him saying it would fit his wrestle mage and he was nice about it and returned.

You can suck at pvp and still be a nice guy. You can be good at pvp and still be nice. I'd like to think i'm a nice enough guy, and can be civil with people, and I suck at pvp compared to some, and i'm good compared to some.
