so erm, the new ethy is something u dont need account age and insta mounts like the old ethys. lol
and what the hell is chaos damage?
also whats the ugly thing in the left hand i keep seeing?

Yeah, but you can buy them instead of play for years to 'earn' them.

That's a talisman. They have charges that do different thing. The first one that comes to mind is essentially 'remove curse' that you double click, or 'use,' like a wand. Double click, target self = remove curse for everyone, not just paladins. There's also apples that will remove curse when you eat them.

That's right, PvPers, we're challenging you to hop on the UOML Beta shard and come up with the deadliest template and item combinations you can find.
Are you the master of creative one-shots? Do you stay up late at night working out the perfect template and combination of items and special moves? Do you know of a particularly good Spellweaving and Magery spell combo that will drop your opponent in the dust without time to whimper? Any deadly combo of skills, items or special moves that are strongly related to UOML content is eligible for entry into the Mondain's Legacy PvP Challenge. We're specifically looking for the most over-the-top, deadly, UOML-related one shot kills.
The top five reproducible entries, as judged by the UOML development and QA teams, will win an Ultima Online: Mondain's Legacy Upgrade code. This code will also be redeemable for a Charger of the Fallen war horse. In addition, the number one entry will also receive a 90 day gametime code.

UOBeta@ea.com with as much detail as you can provide. Remember, if we can't reproduce it, then you won't win, so please be as thorough as possible when writing your entry. the ethy is cool , young players were at too much of a disadvantage like me, getting horse killed by sad faggots who have played the game longer than me thinking they have "earned" their ethy and are ALMIGHTY VETERANS , fuck off, this game is gay who gives a shit if you played more , i nearly quit cause i couldnt be bothered to transfer horses to my red anymore, so i bought a new account.

It's not the devaluation of ethies that even bothers me, it's the fact their whipping out their (small) willies and pissing all over the people who came up with the very idea of veteran rewards.
It shows an incredable lack of effort to just clone the way an ethy works and give it away, they could have come up with some far cooler ideas that give the same end result. Say a horn that summon a fresh charger when blown, with the same delay as a ethy remount timer.
Or an item that allows you to summon and ressurect your own bonded mount providing it requires no taming skill to command.
These are just simple little ideas I thought up in 5 seconds, a team of skilled developers can surely come up with better?
Any jackass can just say "lol let's just give away ethies to everyone."
It's an insult to veteran players, and the very design ideals behind veteran rewards as a whole. Which haven't been updated for years because let's face it the majority of players these days aren't at a stage where 6th & 7th year rewards will ever be a possibility.
