nox my current tactics at rank 12 are...

open with ignite/boilingblood folllow with a firecage if close or a fireball if far away, if its 1v2+ after the firecage i spam scorched earth, when cage breaks i usually finish 1 with a magebolt and the other is at 1/2 hp and i kite/dot til cage is up, or if my hps are fine i carry on the scorched earth spam.

you quickly get upto 100 combust and your dots critting+scorched drops people fast, 1v2 i normally have to chug due to explo dmg lol

and yeh night, i did 10-12 last night purely pvping

if darkfall sucks or isnt in beta by november then i'll prob give this a try.

im playing it as a filler till darkfall, whilst actually really enjoying it, and darkfall seems to never be appearing :/

Got my squig herder to rank 17 now. The class is pretty bugged and weak atm, probably less than 20 who have stuck with it over rank 10. But i really enjoy it in pvp, can beat most 1v1 bar healers if played right (we get a firecage type spell too).

The open rvr is great, its not like WoW where people dont attack, everyone kills everyone. When theres 2 teams fighting over a public quest the battles can get pretty big.

Unfortuantly my server is too light on Order, so the scenario queues are over an hour may reroll order if its not changed.

Yeah, it's one of the reasons I'm really glad I went order, I click the scenario button and I'm in there within 5 minutes, usually 10 seconds later, haven't had much time to play yesterday or today but I imagine it'll get better now it's actually out and not headstarts

I'm a god as Zealot. I think its a little overpowered atm. Unkillable in 1v1, alsmost unkillable 1v2, last forever 1v3.
Ofc, getting kills while in those situations takes just as long and is impossible if they have any healing mechanic.

Still... coming top and rarely dieing in scenarios and often doing more damage than some of the melee classes along with most healing in the world.


Seriously though. Great game.

You dont have to spend your life to get to the part thats good (end game)
Its all there from the start and still gets better.

Open rvr is hardly Fel, you get turned into a chicken if you go to the lower tiers.

open rvr is chicken for 2 tiers below i believe.

kokane, im play elth to, a lv17 BW atm, my guild and i have been crushing phoenix gate, and with a pocket healer iv put up sick sick numbers, like 60k dmg, and 2nd place was...32k.

and yeh zealots, are basically the only class i struggle to beat 1v1 @ the same level, i normally end up attempting to nuke, getting healed thru, then firecage/fleeing, whereas yesterday for example, i won several 1v1s in open world at 16v20, 16v21 and a 17v21, which is pretty sweet.

Yeah chicken is only if you are 2 tiers above someone. The rvr during public quests are the best.

But ive rerolled Order to Sea of Dreams, made a warriorpriest to do as noxin does and just play scenarios. Will go back to my squigherder if the balance problems change.

Got to level 20 and realised there was no one around to do public quests with and hitting 8 hour secenario queues

I think newbie killing is sometimes amusing and should not be disallowed entirely.
Contained a little perhaps, but not outright banned.

well a lv29 could kill a lv1-6, in like 1 shot everytime and isnt outlawed by "chickening" on a open server
