Yeah. Peanut is me. I also play landon and Pezu primarily. I have a tamer also, and an archer, but don't really play them too much. My archer is usually in doom if i'm playing her, or doing semidar spawns because she's female and can hit semidar w/out dying right away.
I'm still laggy, as you've said. It used to be worse. My old cable modem company used to route me to all kinds of wierd places before it got me to my destination. My ping to this shard used to be 200-240 average. Now i'm usually around 150ish, but can still get up to 180. It gets annoying, sure, and i'll probably bitch about it here and there, but I made the decision to play here, and I know this is one of the things I'll have to put up with if I continue to play here. I didn't come here to get scrolls and mad cash. I came here to play with friends and make new ones. So to me, that is more than enough to keep me here, and happy. People who come to drach to 'own' it and get scrolls, and get rich, usually end up getting pissed off and leaving soon because they cannot PvP well due to lag.
As for me, I wasn't into PVP too much before I came to Drach, and I'm a hell of a lot better now than I was before. One thing is for sure: if I can get spell timing down here, with all the lag, i'll do a hell of a lot better if/when I move back to an american shard and don't have to deal with this lag.
As pointed out, the lag from your connection going across the atlantic ocean to the UK is about the same for all players on the East coast. Unfortunately, my connection has to go accross all of America before it gets to the east coast to cross the atlantic.
Also, as Moak said, I-C is a good guild. You guys work as a team better than any other guild i've seen, and htat's why you are such a formidible opponent. I know you guys can kill me 1v1, so I don't really get upset about it. When I get killed by 5 S|A necros casting wither and then shit talking about how much I suck, that annoys me just because I know I could take them 1v1. Then again, most of the S|A guys do'nt have templates to be solo pvpers. they're set up to be group fighters. But I just hate shit talk in general.
Getting back on topic... I think it's funny that Hades says we have 60 people, and then, in a later thread, says he's never seen more than 20 people on except for EK. Well, then I have two questions, more or less rhetorical. If you've never seen more than 20 people on except for EK, then why claim that we (OMG) have more people than you? If you want to use the OMG guild roster as our guild numbers, why bring it up if we have 4500 people, but never more than 20 are on at a time? That kind of nullifies your argument, doesn't it?
Setting record straight on my accounts aka character numbers....I have 6 accounts between my husband and myself....2 of which only hold houses. I play 9 different characters and my hubby plays 6 different characters. K tx.
