Nix, did you see Bayern vs Arsenal ? Agreed the match in London was clearly dominated by Chelsea. But only cause the most crucial players of Bayern were injured ... i mean Guerrero is a okay striker to use in a low lvl game in the bundesliga to give makaay and pizarro a break. But he isnt supposed to be the only striker in a game vs Chelsea. Demichelis is also crucial for the defense so that ballack can go offensive more.
the Goal 1:0 in Munich was PURE luck, no skill involved, none at all. The rest of the game was clearly dominated by Bayern.
Chelsea was falling apart in the end. 5 Minutes more gametime and bayern would have shot the draw. no doubt.
Sure Real spends its money stupidly and Chelsea spend the 500 mill a lot more clever. But how many english players are with chelsea still ? Cole ? More ?
Chelsea really brought the buying success thing to a new lvl. Hard to overcome, but nothing to respect realy

Some of Chelseas best players in my opinion are english
Frank Lampard, John Terry, Joe Cole, Robert Huth
and if Mourinho gets his way, Steven Gerrad and Ashley Cole will be en route as well, although its unlikely Cole would play. Yes admitly a lot of Chelsea team are foreign, but please, look at other teams, they are hardly angels.
Don't forgot about Real's sucess buying - and look at whats going on with them, hugggge debts. It happens from the top down to the very bottom of football, a few teams of course break through completely on there own without crazy financial backing (Look at Inverness in Scotland, from bottom to top6 in premierleague in 10 years - not an amazing league but the financial gap still exists between the top and bottom leagues)
I'm quite sure there is other sucess stories and clubs failed attempting the same thing.
The goal in Bayern was a fluke, but chelsea deserved the win over the two legs and they got it, therefore thats all that matters. The season Rangers played Bayern, we had a good chance of reaching the Quarter Finals for the first season, but you injured our best striker, and that was a massive blow to the whole team, and undoubtly if he hadnt have been injured Bayern wouldn't have qualified that season~
But then we can't live on if's and but's, if your main boys were injured, it sucks but every club has their fair share of injuries throughout the season and misses them in big games.

Erm, Robert Huth is defender in the german national team ^^
There was a lot of luck involved in this 2 matches. the 2 deflected goals, the penalty too. Still, you think Bayern " inst too impressive" well we ALMOST made it, 1 min longer ... okay another if.
But what happened to your teams vs FC Russia Chelsia. MU and Arsenal got slaughtered. Bayern won one, lost one, real unlucky.
And Im sorry but gimme a break, the best thing about Scottish Football is the fans....

I'm not going into a scottish football r0x mode. I'm more aware of the problems involved at every level of the league system here than the majorty(well I'd hope so given that its my league

). Its certainly not as weak as people make it out to be though.
But yeah your right, we have an absolutely amazing atmosphere, undoubtly one of the best Derbies in the world
Until Arsenal had that defeat they were still on amazing form, then they just fell apart, but have managed to hold second place, although that is now in jepordy as Man United have hit good form and are just 1 point behind, admitly Arsenal have a game in hand, but that means nothing, especially at this stage of the season, both Arsenal and Man United have only lost 4 all season, and Chelsea 1, so the gap isn't huge.

There's barely any difference between the quality of English/Spanish/Italian/German leagues. Bayern consistently make it to the quarter's/semi's of the European Cup, shit teams from shit leagues don't do that.
I'd say theres probably more TOP European clubs in England than in Germany(3 in England, 1 in Germany), but the German League has the biggest attendances in Europe, and the league isn't won by money every year. Werder Bremen won it last year, that's like Spurs winning the league here I believe.
Statistically German teams are better in Europe. Bayern have won Euro cup once, and been beaten finalists once, in last 6 years, Leverkusen were beaten finalists 3(?) years ago also.
Only English team to make it to the final in that time is United. I know Chelsea are going to do it this year, but that's still behind Germany.

Nix, dont get me wrong, Ive got the the biggest sympathy (?) for Scotish Football ...
Wont forget the match in Dortmund like 2 years ago. Drunken Scottish in a fountain in the middle of the town, its really cold, and they stand inside this fountain with nothing on than a Kilt singing ... Here we coming ..... Here we coming .... here we coming down the road.
Or " WE hate England, we hate england, we hate england more than you" hehehe
Unlike the match vs england in munich or london, which was more like war.
