I downloaded the client, and kicked off the installation, but then realised what I was about to commit, and pressed cancel.
Moment of madness has now passed me by.

However, some of the anvil nobs are playing too, so I'm still kind of tempted to a degree.
I haven't deleted the installer yet. Sitting on my desktop calling out "double click me plz".

Im playing this now at work.. macroing and the like for now... until my hally mage gets tougher

might and magic iii was the bestest much more fun then heroes

played that game forever and I had spreadsheets with all the weapons and armor and godknows.

Played heroes too, but can't remember, think it was 3, can't find the box.

oh and ps you were all still sucking your thumb when mm3 came out so I know...I am all alone here.

Don't be so sure. Calix can tell you things about WWII in scary detail.

I've been feeling the urge for UO the last week or so. Is this T2A shard any good? Since this post is from around xmas time does that mean none of you are still playing there?

Think everyone gradually lost interest Coli. Fatal and Oz still refresh the houses etc I think...?

What you up to these days anyway?

Going back to university in Sept to do a masters so at the moment just working to fill the gap until I go. As I'm working part time and spend a significant amount of time at home sitting on my arse, and I think coz it's summer, I've been getting the UO feeling though. I think it's been too long since I've played any game online, apart from Left4Dead which I thought had a really good versus mode, I don't think I've played anything online since UO.

I feel like I've done a really bad thing, but just downloaded UO client

Hi Coli, try going on facebook sometime you nob. I stopped playing because I couldn't be bothered going it alone, however in the time a few of us playerd I managed a couple of great treasure map scams, and as a result of that, own the large tower just to the left of chaos shrine, and a small 7x7 just down from it. Did have a destard house too but forgot to refresh it woops. You are welcome to use any of my stuff to get going, got some gold etc to help you out, and some characters if you want to make some money, a pretty good bard that makes light work of destard etc. Might login and macro a bit more if you stick with it let me know if you need anything, or just jump in irc, I'm in there most evenings and will happily log on and help you out.
