we've got a logitech multiremote here at home, dont use it tho. Doesnt really work with all the stuff we got, but i can see the potential in it, and it would be pretty awesome if it worked with everything. Need a new dvd player only really.

Obviously stuff like that is awesome if you can be bothered to set it up, but I would be too lazy to ever bother to do it.
So instead I sit down with my 8 different remote controls and hope I pick the right one up each time.

Oh that's a bit dissapointing. I just fancied something a bit different and I hate having 15 different remotes.
Ideally I'd like something that's just a touch screen that I could program, or even with a web interface that I could make a front end for - something like a bigger iphone. Perhaps making my own is a bit over the top though

then the logitech is exactly what you want, as long as the gripes I have dont bother you its really easy to setup (they are always uploading new kit daily) and if your kit isnt on the site it has learning function.
its no worse than the bose all in one i used to have and miles nice than my pronto.
I think I just expected it to be amazing, and it wasnt
