Personally, either Stealth Mage or Parry/Scribe mage. Stealth pre-UOR and during UOR, parry/scribe in that time during UOR when you could arm shield on mage, don't think I died to a dexxer in that whole time.

Honorable mention has to go to my current necro, catching up with both of the above.

Healer Mage in Pub 16, Was really good for running from ganks + Team Fights..

Poison Wrestle mage.. because I am most used to it!


Though I used to like Hybrid: Mace/Mage.. because when you fought people being in stat etc. you could break peeps armours, clothes, shields!
This wasnt just like in 1 hour or in 30 minutes... was more likely something would break in 2 minutes, and I loved the message saying you broke something of your enemy, when they dont have anything on, they took more hit from the war hammer I was wearing, and died... I didnt need to cast much spells either (I had then something like 60 dex or so)

im loving nox dexer \o/ but the pure gayness of 60hp ar ignores on my lumberjack will take some beating

lol I used to hate the old Lumberjackers when they hit you with a conc blow and it took half your mana

I used to play hide/scribe in O/C for a while, I figured that hiding would help me with my really crappy 56k conn. It didn't of course

Heal/Anat/hide was pretty lol as well, almost never died with that. (p16 that was)

(fence/anat was a right cunt too, para blow~)

i loved playing my macer mage on freeshard, running round with a vanq warhammer and para (lasted 6 secs even with gm resist but you could cast spells)/hit people for 50 odd hp, combined with gimpy explos was very fun to play para/explo/hit/lightning dropped everybody but those silly enuff to wear very expensive ar. (but then again my warhammers cost me a fortune to buy )

In p-16 i played my current Mage Mystix with parry instead of scribe, and i used my Dexxer Eon Swiftblade with macing.. Once i bashed a pair of Black Blessed Sandals which cost quite much more than they do today.

Heal anat mage wrestle stunpunch mage p15, i was bloody unkillable

Never played a mage so will be interesting getting hammered by all the dexxers on the shard then I will probably understand mor why people hate dexxers

i think the most fun temp was music/provoke mage when firehorns were good

Heal/Hide/Anat Mage, I could take on ganks and win, lacked a little firepower but it was the ultimate solo pk template

Would have to be playing Merlark, P16. GM provoke/music

Precast times...Hally mages... It used to be skill

And duels meant something... not endless mana and stuff

Well i also liked Archery mage too in factions time... after they removed the stupid thing with book on hand

Having dexers attack you only to disarm steal their vanquishing weapons was so awesome.
