Most people could smell it coming I'm sure, but it's official now, I am making an AOS SHARD based on the publish 25 ruleset. While most people may well prefer Pre-ren or Pub15 shards, I believe there is a large amount of us around that think Publish 25 could have been just as good.

Seems a good idea.
But alot of the things put me off right away. I was never a fan of the item orientated pvp that spawned. I like the way you've made Artifacts/Items avaible to all and in an easier way, but i just think it will create more item dependant pvpers.

I may have missed it, but i assume their will be insurance?

Still, its an impressive task your taking on, and i do hope it pays off. You seem to know what your talking about, and sadly there is no shard or playset that will suit everyones needs. I did enjoy Publish 25 to a certain degree, and the PvP (all be it, more group orientated than solo) was fairly active.
