Serious question -
how many people are prepared to play if they bring out a new European server ?
The game is free to play (No cost at all) and almost every issue we had with it 2.5 years ago have been ironed out/resolved (Yes even travelling around; and the huge time it took to get levelled up has been pretty much 'quartered').

Not gonna lie and say the game is great; it isn't.
It can be quite frustrating to start with due to having to rely on other people to get a toe-up, and the levelling is still boring (Despite it taking perhaps 1/4 of the time it used to) - but you can get a character from new to 75 (The cap) in perhaps 3 days now
However, on the plus side the game is free; non stop PvP and PKing anywhere you go (No restrictions other than a few 'safehold' NPC cities (think Brit Bank Trammel)); awesome potential for comedy via shit talk^^

I actually enjoy it myself and have been playing it since it went free back in March.
If you guys can put up with the harsh learning curve (It is very difficult to get accustomed to the game admittedly, and there is very little in the way of tutorials) the end result IMO is worth it.

For Buster, Toki, Laz, Pad, Mawkish, Nixon, Cara (OMG what happened to Cara anyway ? :( ) and the rest of the old SB crew - they've added new content and end-game stuff. Calix might love the idea of Mine fights, where you try to seize control of resources by holding a Mine and defending it - or trying to wrest control of it from another guild.

Entirely upto you guys, but the reason I bring this up now is that there is talk of launching a new European Server with improved methods to keep the Koreans and Chinese away (They are destroying the other servers do a degree with their huge numbers and alliances) - they were responsible for the demise of the original European server we all played on 2-3 years back (Damnation).
New server = everyone starts out afresh on a level playing field.

Just curious who would be interested in restarting on ShadowBane. We can always 'sub' to a larger guild/nation if need be, in order to keep away from all the hassles of running & maintaining a city/guild/nation ourselves and focus more on the actual PvP.

I'd think i'd have to give it a miss cos i lost my ability to read stratics style sites to find out how to play games.

actually been tempted to play this again for a while as some other mates have been nagging me. As much as the PVP is generally fun (if you solo on the right template and pick your fights or run with a tight group of course) I found myself bored to tears trying to find someone to fight with before I left - I'd literally run from zone to zone finding no fecker at all.

If thats different I might consider it again.

And mine fights were awesome, but as I was playing on a US server I had to stay up till ungoldy 'o clock to get a fight :(

P.S. you're a fag. :D

I've played on Braialla, Mourning and now am on Wrath.
Never had a problem finding people to kill on any of these servers.
Wrath in particular is pretty busy lately with people moving over Braialla due to the arrival of literally hundreds of Chinese and Asians, and moving over from Mourning due to the nasty lag that old server suffers from.

I am in an American nation at present obviously, but tend to spend most of my time solo PKing people and making them cry hugely by spamming U DED at them.

I tried playing SB again a few months back, and hated within about an hour. After playing WoW it just look so dated. I know the pvp in SB is way beyond anything else right now, but that just doesn`t make up for it`s failings.

I can`t play anything until early december anyway, and Burning Crusade will be out by the, i hope, so i`ll be too busy with that to even think of anything else.

I`ve also been finding my time for the internet has become less recently, commitment to GF etc :< Guess i`m finally growing up, god no!!!
