WAR?

i start tmw with my preorder, looks a good focus pvp/rvr game, should waste a few months of my time

Ive preordered it, but hard to find anyone else who has, not sure what server or what to play yet

I've got the CE pre-ordered so can play from today, but i'm away from home until tomorrow morning so can't play until then.

Will most likely play on the KARAK-ORRUD server.

Intending to play either a Bright Wizard or Engineer.

il be playing a BW dont know what server yet thou >.<

Made a Squig Herder on Finuval Plain. Theres only 3 pvp servers in the headstart, 1 is russian (dragonback) and the other is 2:1 with them begging for more order (Eltharion). Was only one server left really

Most core servers seem to be massively destruction, might end up having to play Order, will see how finuval plain turns out first, would prefer open pvp.

The game seemed very average from my quick try of the beta. Not going to spend money on it.

got my BW to lv10, having fun on eltharion (open ruleset), just got my firecage spell and i suddenly shot to top of the dmg charts in scenarios now i have some survivability!

Everyone else wimped out back to WoW, but yeah Merc, the first 9 ranks I was really struggling as a BW, the minute any melee class attacked me I had to run like a pussy ASAP and likely just die in 3 hits anyway, but as soon as I hit 10 and got firecage it all changed, then once I got a good healer I was tearing shit up. I got 2 ranks in about an hour purely from PvP.

People say the PvP feels slow and boring, initially I agreed, but I'm really starting to really enjoy it now, I only get like an hour here and there to play, and I can just log on kill some people, level up a bit while I do and log out.

yeh same nox, and i like the pvp and im getting into it, iv been destroying 1v1 now im lv10-11~ and dont really have trouble with healers/squishys/dps, only tanks cuz i cant dmg um quick enuff :/

but yeh im enjoying it alot

My plan is to spec for DoTs, I've used them more than any direct damage spell in scenarios, My current technique for tanks is just to DoT them, armour up and then use that smoke thingie until my fire cage is back up, then repeat.
Or if they have a healer do the same and ignore the tank completely while nuking it.

B I can totally relate to tanks having too many hit points to drop solo, they can easily just walk away if it's going badly.

I really like the fact I'm not forced to PvE at all, I basically log on when I can, join a guild scenario group, do a couple of matches and log off again, if I have more time then I do the public quests for items and potion supplies. It's really much more casual friendly than most MMOs I've tried
