go and play uo again

Last November I had the urge to sort loot in brown bags. So dl'd client the new client and then I felt the urge to see if any of my chars where still there and they were...naked and broke. Anyway to cut a long story short. I am quite enjoying this game again and there are now quite a few returnies active on the shard. Pvp is probably not what it used to be, but it's there again and the shard is relatively active compared to last time I logged in.

and yes it's the EEV tower where we used to roll haxx for scrolls. Old man night kept everything intact...waiting for the return of his children.

it's one of those bird type rideable thingies that came out with the samurai expansion hiruku or something. They look diff with the new client. There's some new ridables now btw....but i haven't really gotten around to all that yet.

The graphics are compared to 3d mmorpgs still utterly crap btw....even with new client.

That people are considering playing UO, tells us the sorry state of MMOs at present.

Incidentally, I hear Mortal Online will be launched early and incomplete, thus ending the very last chance for redemption of MMORPGs with open pvp and pking.
