Mobile Phones

Post by Villa »

Can any of you young switched on & tuned in kiddies tell me if these 2 phones are good ? -
Both Sony Ericcsons
k750i
w800

Bloke in the shop is trying to sell them to me telling me they are exactly what a vibrant person such as myself is missing from my life.

My current phones are ancient and badly in need of replacement.

i`ve got a D750i Villa, basically the same phone as the k750 but in T-Mobile colours and slightly different case.

Best phone i`ve ever had tbh, way way way better than the k700i i had before it.

I`m not 100% sure what the difference between the 750 series and the 800 is, just larger memory card and funky headset on 800 i think, and nifty orange/white case. But i`m under the impression you can get the same effect by adding a large memory stick and different 'phones.

All comes down to what style case you want really imo.

Those last 2 phones look identical, other than the walkman logo and colours^

I've gone ahead and ordered both now.
Time for me to feel ten years younger^

As i said before they are essentially th esame, just different coloured case and accessories.

But why 2? or one for you one for wife.com?

Also remember the d750i ( the blue'ish ) one is only on T-Mobile so you`ll have to go with them to get it.

I have a k750i, and to be honest I really like it, but then i've always liked sony ericcson phones because of the interface they have. Some people like samsung, others nokia, but I prefer SE.

It's really easy to use, menus are clear, good options for address book etc.

Go for neither.

I have a nokia n70 now, best phone ive ever had. All the functions I could need from a phone and more, I particulary liked the fact it came with an extra memory card, and all the software/hardware for connecting my phone to the PC to transfer MP3's, videos etc.

Whatever phone you do get though, I suggest contract, of course it depends on how often you use your phone, but its usually cheaper to go contract anyway, as you dont have to worry about top-ups or forking out 100's of quid for a decent phone

That's what I've always said.
Recently however, I got laughed at for my ancient phone by the younger generations, therefore, it is time to beat the bastards at their own game.
