It was alright multiplayer, but split screen wasn't that hot

Treasure Island Dizzy was indeed the best game of all time. Closely followed by Target Renegade. Oh and Supercars II.

Commando at the arcade was pure pwnage.
We used to play it at lunch times in *Ramjams* shop across the road from our school, until the headmaster managed to convince the local council to shut the place down.

*it wasn't until much later that I discovered that Ramjams was not in fact the official name of the shop, but was in actuality an amusingly derogative name someone had coined for Mr Patel.

**credit to Mr Patel/Ramjam for creatiing possibly the first shop in the world that was a newsagents, green grocers, under the counter porn video rentals, amusement arcade, off licence, cigarette supplies to under 16s, Frankie Goes to Hollywood / Frankie Says War (Go hide yourself) T-shirt specialist, and launderette all conveniently under one roof.
